ABOUT US LEARNING CENTER WHAT'S NEW
Since being founded in 1997 by a patient living with chronic hepatitis C as "Hep-C ALERT", this nonprofit organization raised awareness, provided health education, counseling, testing and linkage services to more than 30,000 people throughout the U.S. 

Ten years later, Hep-C ALERT adopted a new name, ALERT Health, Inc., and revitalized its mission.  More...

  • Grants in pipeline - wish us luck:
    • Florida Dep't of Health Demonstration Project for Motivational Interviewing during counseling/testing to increase likelihood of lasting behavior change.
    • Florida Dep't of Health Social Network Testing project called SNAP (Social Network Access Project).
    • Jackson Health System  and Blue Foundation for a Healthy Florida to continue obesity/blood pressure/cholesterol & glucose testing beyond pilot project phase.
  • We still have funds available from the Dr. John T. Macdonald Foundation to help with the chlamydia/gonorrhea screening and treatment costs! To be eligible for sponsorship, you need to make a very small contribution.
