Since being founded
in 1997 by a patient living with chronic hepatitis C
as "Hep-C ALERT", this nonprofit organization raised
awareness, provided health education, counseling, testing and linkage services
to more than 30,000 people throughout the U.S.
Ten years later, Hep-C ALERT adopted a new name, ALERT Health, Inc., and revitalized its mission. More... The Hep-C ALERT 2007 Annual Performance Report is available!

04.01.08Several changes to announce!
03.07.08ALERT's Exec. Director will be presenting a poster at the National STD Prevention Conference in Chicago highlighting the agency's chlamydia/gonorrhea screening program on March 12th. View the poster and the handout. 03.03.08Dade Community Foundation approved our grant request to add screening for obesity, blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar to our roster of preventive services. Screenings will start in May/June. |
